Jim Webb — Suspended

As of October 20, 2015, Jim Webb suspended his bid for the presidency. 

Jim Webb was born in Saint Joseph, Missouri, on February 9th, 1946. After attending the Naval Academy, Webb served as an officer in the Marine Corp. Later, he studied at Georgetown University Law Center. He has served as Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs from 1984 until 1987, Secretary of the Navy from 1987-1988, and Senator of Virginia from 2007 until 2013. He currently lives in Virginia.

On November 19, 2014, Webb announced an exploratory committee for the 2016 presidential nomination.  On October 20. 2015, he announced that he was withdrawing from the race.
