Scott Walker — Suspended

As of September 21st, 2015, Scott Walker suspended his bid for the presidency. 

Born November 2, 1967 in Colorado Springs, CO, Scott Walker is currently serving his second term as Governor of Wisconsin. Walker attended Marquette University, leaving in 1990 to work with the American Red Cross. From 1993-2002, he served in the state assembly, and was elected Milwaukee City Executive in a special election in 2002. After winning another 2 consecutive terms as City Executive, Walker was elected Governor in 2010, survived a recall effort in 2012, and was reelected as Governor in 2014. He and his wife Tonette have 2 children.

Walker formed an exploratory committee for the 2016 presidential race and declared his candidacy on July 13, 2015.
