Steve Bullock

Stephen “Steve” Bullock was born in Missoula, Montana on April 11, 1966, and raised in Helena, Montana. He earned a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College and a J.D. from Columbia University. Following law school, he worked as a lawyer for various state government agencies. In 2000, he unsuccessfully ran for Attorney General of Montana but then was elected to the position in 2008. Then in 2012, he was elected Governor of Montana and was re-elected in 2016. He is married to his wife Lisa with whom he has three children.

Steve Bullock announced his candidacy for the Democratic nomination on May 14, 2019.
